The Lists Module has the following features:

• Individually addressed emails -- No more CC or BCC. Each email sent from our system is individually addressed in the 'TO' field.
  
  
• HTML subscription code -- Generate code to paste onto your site to enable instant sign-up to your newsletters. Send welcome/goodbye emails and redirect to 'thank you' pages of your choice.
  
  
• LinkCheck -- Use this quick and easy facility to check that links work in your plain text mailing before sending it out. Working links highlighted in green and broken links in red.
  
  
• Field substitution -- Include specific recipient information in mailings, such as 'Dear {FIRST_NAME}'.
  
  
• Formats -- Send plain text, HTML (rich text) or attachments.
  
  
• Bounce-handling and Reporting -- Detailed reporting of the results of mailings. Drill-down and see exactly which addresses failed, and why.
  
  
• Usage charging -- Only pay for successful mailings. Calculate the usage charge using the Pricing Calculator.
  
  
• Testing -- Before sending a mailing you can send a test to administrators only. When you're happy then send to all or part of your membership database. There is a preview mode for HTML emails (to check that graphics are displaying properly). All mailings have a 10 minute delay before sending to enable you to cancel.
  
  
• Speed -- The system can send thousands of emails an hour. However, the exact time taken to distribute your mailing will depend the load on the servers, usually affected by the time of day. There are no additional charges for sending mailings at busy times.
  
  
• Transparency -- Mailings appear to come from your organisation and replies go to you. Our server will handle bounces automatically.
  
  
• Subscription Control -- You can choose to be notified every time someone signs up, or 'Close' the community so that only you can add new members.
  
  
• Block Members -- Keep a list of addresses which cannot subscribe or re-subscribe. This stops someone with a grudge subscribing (or resubscribing) another person to your list when that person has already asked to be removed.
  
  
• Embargo -- Put a mailing in the system, but delay sending it for a specific number of hours or days.
